with others, is dedicated and motivated to see herself and her band be successful. Go Alma!
- Songs of Patriots presents a fascinating, and rarely heard,
musical history tour of our country's songs from the mid-1700s on. Songs discovered in the archives, not
published in other collections, show our country as soldiers and writers saw it. Voting rights were always at risk.
Various versions and parodies of lyrics, some with pointed and all too familiar critiques of our government.
You'll be amazed. Includes the very first patriotic song ever published. Historical notes about each song at the end
of the book. 30 tunes and 84 pages. All arrangements plus an original by Valarie Morris. Piano/vocal, guitar/vocal,
accordion/vocal.
- In 2008, Valarie Morris completed four commissions for The Scott Joplin International Ragtime Foundation. Order our arrangement of Fig Leaf Rag, composed by Scott Joplin in
1908. See our complete listing of arrangements of Scott Joplin tunes. Most
arrangements are available for two levels of pianists.
- Note from teacher Mari Haig in December 2007 about our
Animal Anthology books: "I'm enjoying your books a lot. They're unusual and that makes it really fun to play
the music. My cello students suddenly got interested in practicing and it's helped everything!" Books are also
available for violins, violas, wind instruments, piano, and accordion.
- The New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) selected "Do a Duet" and "Frolic"
(bassoon duets), "Serenade" (vibraphone solo with piano accompaniment), "What a Day!" (collection of
mix and match duets, bassoon book and percussion book), and "What a Week!"
(collection of viola duets) for their festival list through 2012. Order now! Titles also available for other instruments.

stores across the US, in Canada, and in Germany.

Kammermusik Workshops, Inc. "Opening Night" was commissioned
by Roberta Mandel. You can order the sheet music at stores across the US
